To uninstall Tomcat:
rm -rf $CATALINA_HOME

I have been waiting for the RPM format files to appear on the Tomcat download site, but they don't seem to be there yet. Is there any plan to make Tomcat 4.1.27 available as RPMs? I personally always prefer installing from RPM as its much easier to control the uninstall process.
