Howdy, You want to put all your jars in WEB-INF/lib. What are the errors you're getting?
hmm.... Xalan is an endorsed library. It needs to be in CATALINA_HOME/common/endorsed or JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/endorsed, otherwise the old buggy version of Xalan that comes with j2sdk1.4.x will be used.
