A basic out of the box Tomcat 5.0.12 is pretty happy with around 30MB on a windows machine, but it's always tricky to say how much memory it will use as it depends on lots of other things, how you configure it and the kind of applications you run on it, but 40-50MB could be an ok guess on Windows.
