I don't know how to creat a test case for this. Everything ran fine on my test box. It only gets out of control under load. I don't have any tools for load testing. I was hoping that the clues about the fix between 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 would help because the symptoms are identical. I also didn't expect that I would be the first one to notice this...
