I have some daemon scripts on my tutorial site. I wrote them for Linux but you should be able to change things if need be. I use chkconfig to make the sym links for the different runlevels, but you can just read the chkconfig line comment at the start of the script and do it yourself. I'm not sure how Solaris handles the runlevels sort of thing (Sys V, etc.), but it should be fairly simple to adapt.
