The performance of the HTTP stack is equivalent to that of 4.1.29 (not surprising, it's now the same), but will have better network efficiency than older 4.1.x releases.
On top of that, for a void servlet (which does a return in its service), the servlet container will add a 10% overhead, down from 20% - 30%.


The basic cases were not the worst in TC 4.1.x, but it clearly had weaknesses for mapping in many situations (for both servlet and filter), and generated too much garbage objects overall.
