RedHat places some libraries in places that configure
doesn't expect. In order to get SSL compiled, the
following environment variable needs to be set before
running configure.
export CPPFLAGS="-I/usr/kerberos/include
-I/usr/openssl/include"
(all on one line - sorry about the wrap)
