Hi,
  Thanks for the lead up to the server.xml.I did change the server.xml like  this.... 

 <Context path="/sampleapp" docBase="e:\sampleapp" debug="0" reloadable="true">  ok.

Now I need to take care of the servlet-api.jar file and the jsp-api.jar file.

I have written a batch file for doing so,where do you think I need to put this Batch 
file so that I would be able to use it.

I have one other question.In the tomcat console,I am getting the error like this....

"SEVERE: Cannot find message associated with key standardContext.resourcesStart
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Document base E:\sampleapp does not exist or is 
not a readable directory"

Kindly let me know what the cause for this eror is.

Any help would be appreciated.
