If you define "in progress" to be someone working on it, I'd say no for tomcat developers, and possibly yes for the people mentioned in the above bug report (kaos, David). Does anyone have a solution? Sure: how about not removing the JSP but simply copying the new version over? Many people do this all the time without a problem. I amended the bugzilla item above asking for the patch so we can evaluate (the patch was never submitted to us for reasons mentioned in the bugzilla item).
