In your server.xml file if you are using connection pooling you can put
a line in like this:
<value>jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/Classifieds?autoReconnect=true</value
>
-->
- <parameter>
<name>url</name>
<value>jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/Classifieds?autoReconnect=true</value
>
</parameter>
</ResourceParams>
</Context>
</Host>
</Engine>
</Service>
</Server>
Hope that does the trick.

Subject: Connection is Closed
I keep receiving a "Connection is Closed" error in my tomcat
localhost_log.
After receiving this error I have to restart tomcat to reconnect to
oracle.
Is there any type of auto reconnect parameter?
Thanks,
