Hello all I am facing the following problem with tomcat 4.0.6 when using Japanese characters :
1. The default encoding of the browser is not being set to the Japanese charset (shift-jis). I have to change the setting manually to see the chars. 2. My japanese chars though being displayed in the JSP are not the same as that inseretd in DB. Can any one please help me .
