thanks again, but that didn't have what I was looking for. Seems to be more for doing builds and it isn't really what I'm searching for. My question is can I use include in the tomcat server.xml in the same fashion that I can in the httpd.conf file? And if so what's the correct syntax for doing this?

Look on the Ant-user list for "entity includes". should work for what you need. Jake Quoting Steven Garrett <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > Hi, > > I was wondering if you can use "include" in the server.xml.
