Hi, Tim and I are two of tomcat's developers, and the others watch this list as well. So you've already contacted them. I don't think it's a bug, but if it is then it will be fixed in future versions, sure. Tomcat 6 and 7 are a long way away ;) Tomcat 5.0.27 is next, and within the next few months you'll start seeing Tomcat 5.1 builds.
