Hello all,

After having run without any problems for at least a week java CPU usage for our Tomcat server went to 99%...

Looking at what the garbage collector was doing I saw the following:

(what follows is just a small extract from the log file...)

This had been going on for hours. An allocation failure of 536 bytes, a sweep that frees 87% and then half a second later, again an allocation failure.


What is it that is going on here?
