Yes, I was talking about mod_jk2. I guess that it is possible to enable a worker by configuration. (After all they are just modules) Sorry, as I'm neither using apache 2 nor mod_jk*, I can't add much. That was just third hand knowledge from posts to this list that managed to stay on my brain heap.
