Hi, You cannot configure tomcat to use an external JNDI services for its own internal resources easily. However, it can be done by customizing some tomcat classes, probably starting with the javaURLContextFactory (http://cvs.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/jakarta-tomcat-catalina/catalina/src/ share/org/apache/naming/java/javaURLContextFactory.java).
