Is there any way to achieve high availability (that is, Tomcat clustering/session replication) in Tomcat 4 without using JDK 1.4? I ask because I need to run Tomcat on OpenBSD 3.5, which only has JDK 1.3 available. The docs I've read for Tomcat 5 (and Filip Hanik's back-ported replication for Tomcat 4) indicate JDK 1.4 is necessary for session replication.
