There is also "analog" for windows os and unix. Under tomcat log on as admin and create a new valve for the specific content. There you should find the mentioned logger. Use option combined to log almost everything in your log file.
Take care to accept the changes. Maybe you need to redo the settings, because tomcat didn't save it on the first time...
