Actually, I have read both of those documents They helped me setup tomcat
in a chroot in rh7.2 (in which I also use jsvc).  I have not tried to use
the chroot jail tools though.  Perhaps those will make things a little
easier.

There are several tools, such as jailer, jailtool, and makejail. In my
case, it helped that the former two support Debian packages. I haven't
tried to get jsvc to work.
