Hi,
This file is created by default by Tomcat's session manager when it
serializes sessions to disk on shutdown. You can configure Tomcat not
to serialize sessions (this is covered in the Manager configuration
reference and the FAQ), but you probably don't want to do that.

The file is created in the work directory for the context being shut
down, _ is used for the ROOT context (the one at path="" on the Host).
I don't know why it wouldn't be there unless you manually cleaned out
the work directory?

Anyways, this error is not fatal to Tomcat, but it means any sessions
that were active before the server shut down are lost.
