Since I want to use ajp13 and set up apache/tomcat on different machines.
I did the following
get mod_jk.so copied in my apache machine
look at the mod_jk.conf-auto file.
Is it true I shall
(1)ftp mod_jk.conf-auto file from my tomcat machine to apache machine
(2) modify all the "ajp12" to "ajp13" in mod_jk-auto
(3) includ the mod_jk.conf-auto into httpd.conf
(4) mod_jk.conf-auto is trying to load mod_jk.so so I shall modify the path
a little bit, too.
Is that all?
I suspect it because the mod_jk.conf-auto file does not specify the IP
address or machine name of my Tomcat machine.
Please let me know what shall I do to set up Apache and Tomcat on "Different
Machine".
Second question : Is it right that I shall put Apache and Tomcat on
different machine in order to set up the loading balance?
Third question, if I set up the ajp13 connection between apache and Tomcat,
how can I determine that it is working fine? I assume, I shall call some JSP
or servlet on Tomcat.
