Hi, I use Oracle 9 with Tomcat 5, using DBCP, following the docs in the JNDI DataSources how-to, no problem. I use the ojdbc14.jar drivers, like you, but the classes12 ones also work, albeit slower. I haven't seen the NPE you quote below.
