Time-consuming, but it'll be exactly what you want in the end. (-or at least you can only hassle yourself for updates ;) 1.1/ Get creative and transfer files using HTTP POST instead of raw FTP. (Think outside the box, no pun intended.) 2/ Change hosts. (You say they require FTP.) 3/ Use a separate FTP daemon.
