I cannot thank you enough Tuncay Baskan. We were about to switch to Tomcat from Jrun4 and found that the MS drivers were noticably slower. Your tip to use jTds probably saved me a few days of testing.
We also tried DataDirect, but they will not sell you just a driver unless you have some distribution agreement and a lot of money.
