Read the manual - it's there!
OK then...

If you're using mod_jk, use JkMount (read the
TOMCAT_HOME/doc/mod_jk-howto.html)
e.g.

JkMount /*.jsp ajp13
JkMount /servlet/* ajp13

The only thing you have to do to httpd.conf is to include the auto-generated
(by tomcat at startup) mod_jk.conf, maybe modify this if you hav especial
wishes and then RENAME this to another file and include this in httpd.conf
instead. In the mod_jk.conf, apache will load the module, make the
JkMount-things etc.

If you're using jserv, then read the
TOMCAT_HOME/doc/tomcat-apache-howto.html

I agree, it's not jumping into you eyes, but it's there.
I got help from reading some of the link-content from
http://www.ccl.net/cca/software/UNIX/apache/.

Subject: How to get apache to send all jsp's everywhere to tomcat?

Kind people,

I'm losing hair even faster than I usually do. To process all .perl
files everywhere with mod_perl, I just say

<Files *.perl>
 SetHandler perl-script
 PerlHandler Apache::Registry
 Options ExecCGI
</Files>

in my httpd.conf.

What is the equivalent thing for sending .jsp files to tomcat, and
where do I put it?

Big TIA for any help other than "read the manual," which I have been
doing extensively. :)

Cheers,
D
