Hi Chuck, The warning about tar is in one of the README files (the one describing different versions). BTW, I notice that in my Solaris system, it looks like some Tomcat packages are already installed, probably because I did a "full" Solaris installation. It's kind of strange though. I can't find any "server.xml" files anywhere. It's like a partial installation? Do you or anyone know how I can fully install whatever version comes with Solaris 9? That'd be the easiest, because I have problems bringing in CDs at where I work, so if we can use whatever Sun happened to put into the Solaris distro, that'd be great. We only need Tomcat 4.1 standalone, minimum. I need this (Tomcat) because an app that I'm trying to install calls for Tomcat 4.1 because it's distributed as a WAR. No need for Apache, etc. Thanks, Jim --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
