My 2 pence worth is that whilst all these are great, intergating them with existing functionality such as asset manegment (Images, documents etc) is such a pain that it is best to do your own.

Isnt HTMLArea IE only? I used FCKeditor for about a year, love it.
After much searching, I think it is the best.
