Hi QM, Thanks for your reply. If there are many developers on this list, then why aren't there any replies? :( I've tested this problem on all my available windows boxes, and the value always gets set to 0. Can somebody else try this out and see if they too are getting the same behavior?
I am really hard-pressed to find a more elegant solution (which would be to use the tomcat5 executable provided by Tomcat) rather than modify those registry values by hand.
