Unfortunately, there's nothing after this :)
Unfortunately, OOME is somewhat of a catch-all - the JVM issues it whenever any OS-based resource is exhausted, as well as when out of heap space. Could be something simple like the limit on the number of open file descriptors being reached. It's also possible you're running out of perm gen space, which is not unusual if you have a lot of classes. Might want to turn on -verbose:gc just to see.
We did run ulimit and the system says everything is "unlimited".
I'm not familiar with "perm gen space" - if I turn on -verbose gc could you please tell me what I might be looking for?
