Title: "iPlanet How To" = "Netscape How-To" ???
Because we also have clients that run on IIS which needs Tomcat.
For ease of deployment/maintenance we would like to use the same
servlet engine if possible.  Not all servlet engines behave the same,
support the same features, comply with the standard, etc.  Plus Tomcat is
open-source so we can look at the code if things get dicey.  For these reasons
we would like to use Tomcat wherever possible.

So... now that I've answered your question.  Do you have an answer for
mine?   Can I run Tomcat with iPlanet or not? Has anyone done this?

I am getting very frustrated with this list.  This is a simple "yes or no" question which I have posted twice and all I get is silence.

Someone answer.  PLEASE!!!

Doesn't the latest iPlanet support jsp and servlets by itself.  I think it does.  Why would you need Tomcat if that's the case?

If I want to set up iPlanet4.0 to redirect JSP/Servlet requests to Tomcat
do I follow the instructions provided in Netscape How-To document or
are there other instructions that must be followed??

Anyone who actually has Tomcat running as the servlet engine for iPlanet
please feel free to respond.  Yes that means you.  Don't just sit there.  Send
a reply.

Thanks,
Keith
