Write a SessionListener... it has two methods, one that fires when a session is created, one when it is destroyed. That should do the trick for you. That's not a Tomcat-specific solution either, so it should be rather portable should you ever need to move to another app server.

Hi,

I have an app that uploads user files in a temporary folder. I want to delete them when the session ends. I know I could solve this with a cron-job, but I'm looking for a way to solve it with Tomcat.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve it?

Thx for your help in advance,

cheers,

Robert
