I had posted a message a while back about session information getting lost, i.e. after logging in on one JSP and going to another page, a new session was being created. I restarted the web server and the problem went away, but it came back again today: I am explicitly setting the session timeout to an hour, but sessions were timing out between pages after a few minutes. I restarted Tomcat and the problem went away. Why is it doing this? I thought it might have to do with the load on the server (hence the subject) but really I have no idea. Thanks, Ben
