Hi, I have only been on the list for a couple of days and it didn't take me long to notice a dozen or more people with the same problems I encountered when I first attemped to get Tomcat up and running on Windows 2000. I made notes of what I did and compiled it into a simple .rtf file. It might help some of you newer people much like myself to get to a point where you can at least play with Tomcat.
