It's been said before, but I think it needs to be reemphasized. I
urge people not to give up on the Tomcat book project at sourceforge,
and not to start a parallel, duplicate, redundant effort. The Tomcat
book project is not that old; it has had a bit of a slowdown of effort
after a lot of initial interest. While it does not have all that much
there currently, I think the prospects for additional material there
soon are good. The slowdown, and what to do about it, is even being
discussed on the corresponding tcbook mailing list (at yahoogroups).
If people want to contribute to such an effort, maybe they should go
join that mailing list, and offer to help pick up some of the slack.
