Sorry, can't provide direct help, just some hints
that might help you to track this down:
 
- check that the servlets are in the same context
- redirect to a modified snoop servlet that logs some 
  additional attributes:
   request.getRequestedSessionId()
   request.isRequestedSessionIdValid()
   request.isRequestedSessionIdFromCookie()
   request.isRequestedSessionIdFromUrl()
