Apache + tomcat (on diffrent machines)

Hi! 
I tried to use mod_jk to connect apache with tomcat. Everything works
ok when apache and tomcat are on the same machine, but I want to
connect tomcat to Apache on diffrent machine. Is it possible? How can
I do it, or where can I read about it?
