Queries regarding usage of Tomcat.

     We at Citibank, Pakistan intend to use Jakarta Tomcat 3.2 for our 
     internal application. We would like to know:
     
     1) What threats/vulnerable will our intranet be exposed to if we 
     use Tomcat 3.2 ?
     
     2) What is the structure of informing clients about the 
     updates/patches of the software ?
