application.getRealPath problem

Hi All,
  When I call application.getRealPath("/") in my JSP pages I get
"C:\java\jakarta\webapp\repositorio" instead of
"http://localhost/repositorio"; . Is that correct? How can I get the path for
the root of my web application?
