Tomcat In Production Environment

Hi,

I'm new to the list so greetings.

I am interested in deploying Tomcat in a production environment.  Has anyone
out there used tomcat in a hosting environment where you have a server with
multiple virtual hosts under Apache and then tomcat server those sites.

I am interested in any tips on Security, configuration, loads etc.

Thanks in advance, and I'll be posting any tips I come up with while I am
getting this working.
