I have been trying to figure out what is going on with my two linux
machines, running Tomcat. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The first machine runs Tomcat without any problems. Running Tomcat 3.2.1.1
that was installed as an RPM on a RedHat 6.1 (kernel 2.2) machine some time
ago. I'm also running Java version 1.3.0 as an RPM at the same time.
Second machine is running RedHat 7.1 (kernel 2.4). Running the same version
of Tomcat (although I had 3.2.3 installed at one point and removed it), and
JVM 1.3.1_01.
The main Tomcat page appears using port 8080 (not configured with web server
yet). Servlet examples work fine. JSPs fail, stack trace indicating
something about NoClassDefFound.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Should I try Tomcat 4 instead?
