I assume you are not getting the desired output in the browser for:
http://localhost/examples/jsp/index.html <http://localhost/examples/jsp/index.html>
and I assume you didn't manually create the "Filter DLLs" keys because
that only applies to PWS on Win98 (the howto document needs to make
this clearer).
Given these assumptions, I would recommend the following steps to obtain
more information:
1) Modify the conf/auto/iis_redirect.reg to change the "log_level" to "debug".
2) Reapply the iis_redirect.reg registry settings.
3) Modify the server.xml to contain:
<LogSetter name="tc_log" timestamps="${tstamps}"
path="logs/tomcat.log" <!-- Add this line to send log to a file -->
verbosityLevel="INFORMATION" />
4) Shutdown Tomcat and IIS and delete the iis_redirect.log
5) Start Tomcat and IIS
6) Execute http://localhost:8080/examples/jsp/index.html
<http://localhost:8080/examples/jsp/index.html> to make sure
Tomcat standalone is working.
7) Execute http://localhost/examples/jsp/index.html
<http://localhost/examples/jsp/index.html> .
If you don't see the desired result, send the lines at the end of the
following log files that relate to this last request:
system32\LogFiles\W3SVC1
<tomcat>\logs\tomcat.log
<tomcat>\logs\iis_redirect.log
I'll see if I can spot a problem from the log output.
Note that "GET /jakarta/isapi_redirect.dll 200" is the normal log output
when requests are working correctly. If you didn't get the desired result
in the browser, it means that IIS isn't able to detect there is a problem.
Cheers,
Larry

Subject: Problem with IIS and tomcat
Dear Sir,
I have developed a jsp and servlet based web-application.
When I try to integrate it with IIS, I followed all the procedure mentioned in the
"How-To".
I make all the steps smoothly.
Until the last step, I get an error "GET:\....200" in the log file.
I have no idea how to solve the problem.
Here is my configuration:
WIN2K
IIS
Tomcat3.3
