Hi, This works under Windows for batch files, should work for unix shell scripts too.
If you are using the batch file to load Tomcat, you might have to alter this file, as the batch file sets aside the system classpath and sets up it's own class path. When you use the shutdown batchfile, the Tomcat sepcific classpath is cleared and the previous classpath is restored.
