Tomcat 4.0.2 final release has included the xerces.jar (xerces 1, I think). This version does include a SAX parser. And AFAIK, you could copy your own xml parser (.jar) in your CATALINA_HOME/common/lib folder. Remember to remove xerces.jar when you do this. Or else you might have a conflict. Thanks. RS
