Hi, I deployed app.war(this does noot have web.xml under its WEB-INF folder) in webapps.I tried to access to index.html using http://localhost:8080/app/index.html,it reported "resource not found",however i inserted a simple web.xml under app/WEB-INF/ then it worked fine. But when i freshly deployed app.war(after deleting app.war and app directory from webpps directory) it worked fine.what could be the reason that it doesn't work the first time.Please answer as soon as possibel.
