I managed to solve the same problem by the following procedure: cd lib gcc -shared -o libwebapp.so *.lo cd ../apache-2.0 rm mod_webapp.la mod_webapp.lo mod_webapp.o mod_webapp.slo make gcc -shared -o mod_webapp.so *.lo
