I am running Tomcat as a standalone service on MacOSX. I can reach the default page at http://localhost:8080/ and I have compiled my first hello world servlet so everything appears to be working.
However, there are jsp and servlet examples at http://localhost:8080/examples/jsp and http://localhost:8080/examples/servlet/ but when I click on either I get 404 errors. I checked the directories and the index.html files are there. The url is valid. Anybody have this problem? Other links on the default page to other directories are fine.
