Hi... I have recently installed Tomcat on Mac OS X. Everything works fine when set to listen on Port 8080 (i.e. When I point my browser to http://localhost:8080 I get the Tomcat page and am able to execute the examples.) ..but when I change the server.xml file so that Tomcat listens on Port 80, restart Tomcat, and point my browser to http://localhost I get nothing.
What's up with that?! Sorry if this has already been addressed. I just joined the list and I did do a cursory search of the archives but I didn't see anything pertaining to this.
