Hello, I need help configuring Apache and Tomcat. Here are my versions. j2sdk1.4.0 tomcat-3.3a Apache 2.0.35 on Windows2000 Professional
Basically I have tomcat and Apache both installed and running but can't run both. I got a little lost following Tomcat-Apache HOWTO instructions on jakarta.apache.org but basically I followed the instructions http://jakarta.apache.org/tomcat/tomcat-3.2-doc/tomcat-apache-howto.html#run ning_examples 1. Modify Apache's httpd.conf file. 2. Install a web server adapter. 3. Modify Tomcat's server.xml file. When I insert Include "c:/jakarta-tomcat-3.3a/conf/auto/mod_jk.conf" in the Apache httpd.conf file and attempt to start the web service, it fails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
