Dear All,

I need more information about the different connectors existing on
catalina.

To maintain two existing webapps, I need the availability to manage
webapps containing php parts. For that I connect a 1.3 apache with
tomcat.

o Using tomcat and mod_jserv or mod_jk, it is easy but some applications
like jetspeed does not run just out of the box. This make me think that
it is not a good way to work
o Using catalina and mod_jserv or mod_jk, I get the same results
o Using catalina and mod_webapp, jetspeed (for example) run out of the
box but as the documentation says, mod_webapp does not <<read>> the
web.xml file but transfert ALL request (static and dynamic) so my php
parts are no more transfert to mod_php and they are displayed instead of
being interpreted !

Now coyote appears. If I have well understood, it is a new HTTP
connector = for tomcat as a standalone server for me. So with this one I
won't be able to run php (the servlet sapi interface of php is NOT
stable).

I won't be able to easily manage the change of the structure of the
applications. Do I have to stay with mod_jk or could I help modifying
mod_webapp (I don't know C....) ?
Is there a good documentation about the differents connectors ?
