My problem does not involve response issues. There is no output made at all. The socket I am talking about is not the HTTP socket between tomcat and the browser. It is an internal socket between the servlet, and another server. Actually, I just realized that the servlet creates a thread to listen to the openned socket, if it can bring more lights to this.
